I played "Concierto de Aranjuez" (one of my favorite pieces) last night with the Carson City Symphony and had a wonderful time. I am in Carson City at the moment just getting ready to go to Las Vegas in couple of hours.I am just touring right now. Touring with that famous "Concerto de Aranjuez" in the USA as we catch her for this interview, she is also preparing her second CD with Naxos this year and who knows - it may just contain exciting music from countries usually not associated with the Classical guitar.Hello, I am doing really well, thanks. Even though the studio has become less important for her of lately, chosing to perform live as often as possible instead, she has continued the tradition of including Croatin composers in her live repertoire. She was only 17 years old at the time and had already managed to build a sizeable discography, full of recognised masterpieces as well as select tracks from the oeuvre of some of her fellow countrymen, such as Stjepan Sulek, Andelko Klobucar and Slavko Fumic. I do have couple of other interests though. My brothers and I were always surrounded with it. Music always had such a strong influence in my life. I just can't imagine my life without music. You can almost feel like they are breathing with you. I'd like to have couple of really good classical players, but also some jazz and more contemporary artists.14. What would be on your program for the season?I would like to have more of a mixture of musicians with different musical styles and backgrounds.
